  • Emergency lock — lock a lost tag using email verification, even without your normal dashboard session.
  • You choose what to publish — your account email is not automatically public. Contact details you add to a card are shared intentionally.
  • Visit counts, not visitor identities. The counter does not tell you who opened your link. Service providers process data needed to operate the feature.

Common Questions

Do I need an app?

No dedicated RoboTap app is needed. Use a compatible NFC-enabled phone with internet access. Manage your tag in the Control Center; device settings and destination services may require confirmation or sign-in.

What if I lose it?

Lock the tag in your dashboard, or use emergency locking with email verification. Its destination is then hidden until you unlock it. This does not erase details someone already saved.

Can I change what it does later?

Yes. Update the destination in your dashboard without rewriting the chip. Changes apply to future visits while the online service is available.

Is it secure? Can someone copy my tag?

The public link can be copied. The dashboard counts visits; it does not identify visitors or provide verified clone detection. Lock a lost tag and avoid sharing sensitive information.
